Preview: Flames vs Sabres

Buffalo Sabres Record: 10-4-1 (1st in the Northeast)

Calgary Flames Record: 11-4-1 (2nd in the Northwest)

Sabres Record vs. Flames Since 2005: 1-2

Sabres Likely Goalie: Ryan Miller

Flames Likely Goalie: Miikka Kiprusoff

Sabres Top Scorer: Tim Connolly (4 goals, 15 points)

Flames Top Scorer: Rene Bourque (6 goals, 18 points)

Injury Report: The Flames are basically healthy, especially now that they've cut the line and got their flu shots!

For Buffalo, Toni Lydman (groin) is out and Patrick Lalime (groin) is questionable.

Preview Notes: With Kiprusoff and Miller between the pipes this should be quite the game. Both are near the top of the league stat wise and have look almost unstoppable. Buffalo has allowed a league low 43 goals while Calgary is 6th with just 43 goals allowed.

After a rough start, Calgary superstar Jarome Iginla has rounded into form and will look to kill the slugs on the front of the Buffalo jerseys. Tim Connolly will just look to stay off the IR after a surprisingly healthy start to the season. Stay away from Phaneuf Tim. He'll kill you.
