Preview: Oilers vs. Senators

Ottawa Senators Record: 7-5-2

Edmonton Oilers Record: 8-8-1

Senators Record vs. Oilers Since 2005: 4-0-0

Senators Likely Goalie: Pascal LeClaire (5-4-1, GAA: 270)

Oilers Likely Goalie: Nikolai Khabibulin (7-7-1, GAA: 3.18)

Senators Top Scorer: Milan Michalek (7)

Oilers Top Scorer: Dustin Penner (10)

Injury Report: The Oilers have...ummm...alot. Marc Pouliot, Ryan Stone, Shawn Horcoff, Ales Hemsky, J.F. Jacques, Sheldon Souray. and Ladislav Smid all have some time on injury or another.

Volchenkov should be the only one out for the Senators

Preview Notes: Someone should really let the Senators know that games are not the best time to practice their penalty kill. Especially since their PK didn't work to well in their game against the Devils (they let up 3 PP goals). Seriously, they have a harder time staying out of the box than a male sex addict. Where the Senators can't seem to get out of their own way, the Oilers are just riddled with injuries (see above). Look a lot of penalties, some good goaltending ('bulin, not LeClaire) and probably for Chris Neil to punch someone.
