The Boston Bruins have cut forward Max "Rico" Sauve. Sauve will return to his junior team, Val d'Or of the QMJHL.
Sauve had one goal and two assists in three games this pre-season. He is expected to be called up to Providence (AHL) in the spring after his junior season is over.
