This will be a quick update as we are a little behind on this post. Finally one of the long-winded dramas of the East comes to an end with Ottawa finally trading Dany Heatley to San Jose in exchange for Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo and a 2nd round draft pick. Heatley, who wanted the move because he felt that he was not being properly utilized is apparently due to make approximately $8 million this year. With this cleared up we can focus on the next biggest northeastern story: The Phil Kessel-Bruins fiasco.
