Team At A Glance I: Boston Bruins

Preseason Record: 5-2-1

Starting Goalie: Tim Thomas

Likely Highest Total Points: Mark Savard

Challenge Coming Into The Season: The Bruins are strong defensively and have the current Vezina Trophy winner in net so keeping the puck out of their own goal shouldn't be the problem. The difficulty is going to be putting the puck in the back of their opponent's. While there is no lack of talent on the Bruins, some of the younger players will definately need to step up their game in a effort to make up for some of the goals lost in the Kessel trade. Having Ryder and Sturm healthy all season will help too. Barring any unforseen injuries or mishaps, the Bruins overall seem to be the most likely to take the Northeast Division this year.
