Dany Heatley Deadline?

It's about time.

About two months too late, it seems as though Ottawa Senators general manager Bryan Murray is ready to make a decision in this Dany "Trade Me, but only to places I want to go!" Heatley saga.

In an article in the Ottawa Citizen, Murray claimed he's about ready to set a deadline to either trade malcontent Dany Heatley, or bring him back and kill his locker room despite Heatley's requests to leave.

No doubt Ottawa Senators fans are sick of this whole sage, and most likely will not be giving Heatley a warm welcome. As talented as Heatley is there is great potential for him to bring down what could be a promising season in Ottawa. The longer this distraction hangs about the team, the more damage it will cause the team.

Rumor is that Heatley is threatening to take captain Daniel Alfredsson for a ride in his car if his trade requests are not met.
