Challenges Coming Into The Season: The lose of Kovalev is no doubt offset in terms of points by gaining Cammalleri from the Flames and Gionta from the Devils. Where Kovalev is going to be sorely missed is when it comes to leadership. There are a lot of new players in Montreal this year, not to mention a new coach, without a strong leader to rally behind and provide motivation in tough situations, talent will only take a team so far. Someone is really going to need to step up this year to be that guy, whether he's a newcomer or veteran to the Canadiens. Also, with lots of strangers coming on board, one has to wonder what the chemesty of this team is going to look like early in the season.
