Preview Notes: The Dallas Stars are one of just two teams in the NHL that have not suffered a regulation loss this season. Brendan Morrow has been on fire, as have the Stars' young guns like Neal and Benn.
The Bruins' troubles have been well documented this season. The power play is in a coma. The penalty kill is about as reliable as some Maple Leafs goaltending. Coach Claude Julien is hoping the road trip can help spark the team. The one game the Bruins had against Dallas last year certainly helped spark things. Unfortunately, Avery is in New York and Ott is hiding from Lucic on the IR:
The Bruins will be without defenseman Dennis Wideman. Hopefully Johnny Boychuk steps up like he did against the Avalanche.
