Preview: Canadiens Visit Oilers.

The Montreal Canadiens will travel to Edmonton in a Battle of Canada!!!!!!! Sorry, got excited. But not really.

This is the first meeting of the season between the teams. Montreal is coming off an absolute slaughter at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks, a 7-1 rout.

The Edmonton Oilers are coming off a heart breaking loss to the rival Flames, as old man 'Bulin stayed up too late and fell asleep as David Moss poked the puck like Mike Richards pokes Pierre McGuire:

After opening the season with two victories, the Canadiens have shrunk back down to size, losing their past two.

Edmonton has lost twice to the Calgary Flames, once on the goal above and dropped another when the Flames tied the game with 1.5 seconds and then won in overtime.

"Disappointing, for sure. When you're losing points like that early in the season, it's tough," forward Ales Hemsky said of the missed opportunities against the Flames.

The Canadiens will be without Glen Metropolit who was injured against Buffalo. Ryan O'Byrne and Andrei Markov are out with scurvy.

Sheldon Souray suffered a mild concussion when he collided with Jarome Iginla on a clean hit, despite what the drunken Pat Quinn will tell you. He is a game time decision.

For now, enjoy some highlights from the 2/11/2009 match up between these two teams:
