Recap Notes: The Bruins continued their streak of awful effort followed by great effort followed by awful effort as they fell to the Coyotes.

The Bruins once again seemed disinterested as soon as the Coyotes got their first goal.

The game was highlighted by scoring from defensemen. The Bruins lone goal was scored by Mark Stuart, his first of the season.

Three of the Coyotes four goals were scored by the blueliners, with Ed Jovanovski, Adrian Aucoin and Keith Yandle scoring goals. Captain Shane Doan had 3 assists.

Boston’s special teams were once again atrocious, going 0 for 2 on the power play and allowing Phoenix to score on 2 of their 4 power play opportunities. The Bruins were out shot 36 to 23. The Coyotes have won three in a row.

"Give Phoenix credit, they are playing extremely well and we just didn't have enough fight in us to counter that," Boston coach Claude Julien said. "They're hardworking from start to finish and they come at you hard."
