Recap Notes:Down 3-1 with less than 2 minutes left in the third, the Boston Bruins came from behind to tie the game at 3-3 and eventually win the game in the shootout.

The game was back and forth with great goal-tending from both sides through the first two periods.

Tim Thomas was on his game... still not sure how he saved this:

But in the third Ottawa scored twice just two minutes apart (Milan Michalek and Mike Fisher) to seemingly put the game out of reach.

But then the Bruins visited the wizard and got some heart. With Tim Thomas on the bench, 1,500 game man Mark Recchi tipped a Derek Morris slap shot past Elliot to cut the deficit by one.

Just over a minute later, Tim Thomas went back to the bench and the Bruins went back to work. Again Derek Morris launched a rocket, David Krejci grabbed the rebound and "Score!"

Overtime featured a lot of chances but no one could convert. In the shoot out, Patrice Bergeron managed to juuuuuuuuuuuust squeeze a shot past Elliot and Thomas made the big save at the other end to secure the victory and a much needed 2 points for the Bruins.
