Lucic Injured, Guillaume Lefebvre

Boston Bruins forward and Komisarek killer Milan Lucic suffered an undisclosed injury last night against Dallas and will sit tonight against the Coyotes. Guillaume Lefebvre has been recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis.

"BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has recalled forward Guillaume Lefebvre on an emergency basis from the Providence Bruins (AHL). Lefebvre is traveling to Phoenix today and is expected to be available for tonight’s game against the Coyotes.

With the Providence Bruins this season, Lefebvre has appeared in four games with 0-1=1 totals and 25 penalty minutes.

Last year with the AHL’s Springfield Falcons Lefebvre had 4-9-13 totals with 206 penalty minutes in 70 games played. Originally drafted by Philadelphia in 2000, Lefebvre was traded to the Pittsburgh organization where he appeared in 12 NHL games with 2-4-6 totals in 2002-03. In his career, the 28-year-old Lefebvre has appeared in 38 NHL games with 2-4-6 totals and 13 penalty minutes." - Official Press Release
