More Bad News For Bruins, Lucic Out 4-6 Weeks

Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli announced today that forward Milan Lucic would be out 4-6 weeks after having surgery on his right index figner yesterday. This is a very unforunate turn of events for a Bruins team already hurting, but very good news for Mike Komisarek's face and pride.

On the plus side for the Bruins, Dennis Wideman returned to practice today. No word on whether or not he'll play Wednesday agains the Predators. Also no word on whether or not anyone will ever try to work with him to improve his shot accuracy.

As noted yesterday Vladimir Sobotka, Brad Marchand and Guillaume Lefebvre were called up from the Bruin's AHL affiliate in Providence. Sobotka is expected to see time on the second line, at least to start the game.
