Preview: Sabres vs Devils

Verses: New Jersey Devils

Sabres Record: 6-1-1

Devils Record: 6-3-0

Sabres Record vs. Devils Since 2005: 6-7-0-3

Buffalo's Likely Goalie: Ryan Miller (6-0, GAA 1.69)

New Jersey Likely Goalie: Martin Brodeur (6-3, GAA 2.42)

Buffalo's Top Scorer: C. MacArthur (4)

New Jersey's Top Scorer: Z. Parise (6)

Injury Report: Buffalo will be without Andrej Sekera who is on the IR nursing his ribs. Toni Lydman is DTD with groin problems, it unclear whether or not he'll be playing.

New Jersey's injury situation is much more bleak, most notibly Patrik Elias is out with groin problems. Paul Martin and Jay Pandolfo are both out until December. Mike Mottau is DTD with a sore hip.

Preview Notes: This should be an excellent game and I highly recommend watching it if you can. Teams are evenly matched, however NJ lost their ice time leader Martin to a broken arm last Saturday, it'll be interesting to see how that affects things. Brodeur didn't start out as sharp as expected, but has definitely picked up his play. Miller on the other hand has been fantastic pretty much all season thus far.
