There is an opening on the Boston Bruins blue line in regards to who will miss the net by ten feet with every slapshot.
Bruins coach Claude Julien confirmed yesterday that Dennis Wideman would not join the team on their road trip through Dallas and
Wideman is thought to have a shoulder injury and has not been practicing with the team. Julien said the team had no plans to bring up anyone from the NHL, and instead will continue to let Johnny Boychuk kill people along the boards.
Hopefully the Bruins do not go to a shootout while Wideman is out, as he is quite the expert:
