Preview: Sabres and Chris Hanson Meet Predators


Tonight the Buffalo Sabres travel to Nashville to meet the Predators.

The Sabres (1-0-1) are averaging 37 shots a game over their first two games, which means Predators' goalie Dan Ellis is going to be busier than Pierre McGuire's mouth in the Flyers locker room.

Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller made 25 saves in a loss to the Predators last season, and has a lifetime record of 1-2-0 and a 3.18 GAA against Nashville. Miller has played extremely well so far this season, stopping 38 of 41 shots.

Nashville will attempt to start a season 3-0 for the first time ever without J.P. Dumont. Dumont has a possible concussion but nothing is confirmed and the Predators are taking precautions not to rush him back.
