The Montreal Canadiens apparently hate having healthy defensemen.
During last night's game against the Buffalo Sabres, Ryan O'Byrne suffered an ankle injury when he was struck by a puck and is expected to miss six weeks.
Forward Glen Metropolit was also injured when he collided with Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta and is expected to be re-evaluated in Calgary before Tuesday's game.
The Montreal Canadiens have called up defenseman Yannick Weber from the Hamilton Bulldogs to replace O'Byrne of the AHL.
